In 1998, the Lego company released a new toyline under their technic division: Slizer. Eight differently-coloured warriors who ruled a realm of their own, the line was an instant success and secured a followup line, plus serving as the inspiration was the short-lived Roboriders and what would become lego's most popular product; Bionicle. In 2003, a 13-year old boy, under the screenname Kumata nuva, posted a fanfic on the Bionicle dicussion site BZPower; a fanfic based on the Slizer toys he had enjoyed as a child. Though the fanfic recieved few reviews, he resolved to write another, and in 2004 such was made a reality. This time around, many more people read, reviewed and enjoyed the epic, which prompted Kumata Nuva to develop the series into a trilogy. In 2005 the third instalment was released, a much more massive undertaking tan the previors two, which even now has not conlcuded. Four years since the origin of his Slizer series, Kumata Nuva has finally taken it upon himslef to compile all the inofrmastion he has ever wriitn on the Slizer universe in an easy-to-navigate website, which from now on will serve as the centre of all his Slizer-related fiction.
